Artist-Designed Graphic T-Shirts
Mythical Merch is an independent art collective founded in Cleveland, Ohio. For more than 13 years, we have worked with artists to transform unusual illustrations into graphic T-shirts, enamel pins and other collectible artwork.
Our graphic tees explore psychedelic art, music culture, horror, gaming, space, nature, animation-inspired mashups and the occasional collision between several of those worlds. Designs come from Mythical Merch and collaborating artists including Erin Barnhart, Shaena Polly, Curtis Wohlgemuth and others whose work appears throughout our catalog.
We include artist credits in product titles whenever possible so customers can identify the people behind the artwork and discover more of their designs. A graphic shirt may be wearable merchandise, but the illustration—and the person who created it—remain the reason it exists.
Two Different Graphic T-Shirt Styles
This collection includes two meaningfully different kinds of shirts:
Traditional limited-edition unisex cotton T-shirts with artwork printed in selected areas
All-over-print polyester T-shirts with artwork covering the front and back
These shirts differ in fabric, fit, printing method, price and size range. Someone who wears a medium in one style should not automatically assume that a medium in the other will fit identically.

Limited-Edition Unisex Cotton T-Shirts
Our traditional unisex tees are made from 100% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton. The 4.2-ounce fabric provides a soft, lightweight feel without being excessively heavy.
These shirts use Bella+Canvas blanks selected after comparing numerous options for fit, comfort, durability and print quality. They have an average unisex fit that runs true to size for most customers, with sizes ranging from XS–3XL on the current designs.
Unlike the all-over-print shirts, these tees use artwork placed on selected printable areas. Most are available in black or white, depending on the design and the colors needed to present the artwork clearly.
Many of these shirts are produced as limited editions. Availability can therefore vary considerably between designs and sizes, and a sold-out combination may not return once the remaining inventory is gone.
All-Over-Print Polyester T-Shirts
Selected designs are available as all-over-print tees made from 100% brushed polyester. The silky, lightweight fabric weighs approximately 5.16 ounces per square yard and is designed to resist shrinking and fading.
These shirts use cut-and-sew construction. The individual printed panels are assembled after printing, allowing the artwork to cover both the front and back instead of being confined to a rectangular area on the chest.
The all-over-print tees include size and care information inside the collar, with black or white seam thread selected to coordinate with the artwork. Current designs are available in sizes XS–4XL and are made in the USA.
Polyester has a smoother feel than a traditional cotton T-shirt. Customers who strongly prefer the familiar texture of cotton should choose one of the limited-edition unisex tees. Customers who want the artwork to occupy most of the garment may prefer the all-over-print construction.
Psychedelic, Music and Alternative Graphic Tees
The collection brings together psychedelic T-shirts, music-inspired designs, horror artwork, gaming themes, surreal characters and alternative illustrations. Several pieces also connect with festival, jam-band, EDM and counterculture communities.
Some designs turn familiar ideas into elaborate mashups, while others begin with original characters, strange environments or artwork developed specifically for Mythical Merch. The result is a collection intended for people who would rather wear a conversation piece than a small anonymous logo.
The selection includes everything from mushroom villages and cosmic animals to dancing characters, skeleton astronauts and artwork influenced by electronic music. It is a relatively broad artistic ecosystem, but behaving normally was never one of its admission requirements.
Choosing the Right T-Shirt Size
Begin by identifying whether the product is a cotton unisex shirt or an all-over-print polyester tee. Their measurements and available sizes are not identical.
For the most reliable comparison:
Choose a T-shirt you already own that fits comfortably.
Lay it flat without stretching the fabric.
Measure across the chest from one side to the other.
Measure from the highest shoulder point to the bottom hem.
Compare those measurements with the chart on the product page.
When a size chart provides a flat garment width, that number represents the shirt measured from side to side—not its complete circumference. A shirt measuring approximately 21 inches across the chest has an approximate 42-inch garment circumference before accounting for construction and the room needed for movement.
Some of our cotton shirt pages instead provide a recommended chest-to-fit range. Read the heading on the chart carefully so that a body measurement is not confused with a flat garment measurement.
If you fall between sizes or prefer a looser silhouette, sizing up may provide additional room. Measurements are more useful than relying entirely on the size letter, since clothing manufacturers have never held a successful meeting about what “medium” should mean.
Graphic T-Shirts for Festivals, Concerts and Everyday Wear
These graphic tees can be worn at concerts, festivals, conventions or as alternative everyday clothing. The cotton shirts provide a familiar casual feel, while the all-over-print polyester tees create a brighter, more expansive presentation of the artwork.
Both styles can be paired with graphic joggers, leggings or jeans. A graphic hoodie also makes a useful additional layer for outdoor events once the temperature drops after sunset.
These shirts are designed as casual graphic clothing rather than technical athletic apparel. We do not present them as compression garments, protective clothing or specialized moisture-wicking performance wear.
For long outdoor events, consider temperature, sun exposure and weather when planning the rest of your outfit. A shirt can express your personality, but it remains frustratingly unwilling to function as sunscreen or a rain shelter.
Caring for Your Graphic T-Shirt
Turn your shirt inside out before washing to reduce unnecessary friction against the printed artwork. Wash it with similar colors using cold water and avoid bleach.
Excessive heat can be hard on printed clothing and may contribute to shrinkage in cotton garments. Use a low dryer setting or air dry when practical, and always follow the care instructions provided with the specific shirt.
The cotton and polyester styles use different fabrics and printing methods, so the care label attached to the garment should take priority over general advice.
